Evie is a Jack Russell cross. She was abandoned in a cat carrier and brought to the centre by inspectors. Even though Evie is very cute we are looking for an experienced owner for her as she is dog aggressive and has shown signs of seperation anxiety so will need further training. She is not suitable to live with cats or young children.

Tula is a 2 year old Domberman cross. She was rescued by inspectors with 55 other dogs from a property in Somerset! Tula is very friendly and very playful but will need further training and socialising as she can be timid in new situations.

Due to Tula's bad start in life we are looking for an experienced home for her with no young children.

Lady is an adult Staffie. She is not only a stunning looking little lady she has a loving personality to match! Lady is very lively and active. She loves to play fetch and have human company. She is good with some dogs but not all. Sadly Lady has been returned to our care because she is not housetrained however this can be taught.

Rocky is an 18 month old, Mastiff cross. He is an extremely loveable boy who will need further training as he can be dominant. He is very strong so we are looking for an experienced person/ family for him who is used to handling extra large breed dogs.

Rocky really does deserve a forever home, he has had a very sad start in life, the RSPCA is his fourth home!

 

Rocky has now been transferred to the Leeds branch. Please contact them for re-homing information.

Max is a young Jack Russell. He is a very lively little chap who will need further training as he is under socialised with other dogs. He is very friendly but not suitable for young children. Max loves attention and going for walks.

Update: Max is not enjoying being in kennels, please contact the animal centre if you are intersted in re-homing Max.

Star is a 2 year old Husky. He was rescued by inspectors with 55 other dogs from a property in Somerset! He is a very friendly, energetic boy who will need further training but is good with other dogs. Star can be timid in new surroundings and is sometimes weary of men so we are looking for an experienced home for him.

Lola is an 18 month old, Beagle cross. She came into our care because she was too boisterous and destructive for her previous owner. Being a puppy Lola is still teething and will chew almost anything. She is good with other dogs although is some times too playful for them! Lola is not suitable to live with cats.

Jess is a young adult female. She is a very pretty girl who will need a confident owner who will do further training her, being young she still nips during play.

     
   sparkles.jpg   Sparkles is a young male. He was found running in the road and brought in by one of our inspectors. He will need an experienced owner who will be prepared to do training with him. He is not suitable for children but does like other ferrets.
     
  jumbo.jpg   Jumbo is a young adult male. He is very friendly and playful however due to his age he still nips a little in play. He is looking for a confident owner who can do further training with him. Jumbo is currently paired.
     
 jess.jpg   Jamba is a young adult female. She is very active and confident but due to her age still nips a little in play. She will need a confident owner who can do further training with her. Jamba is currently in a pair.

Cats available for adoption

Shelly is an adult, neutered female. She was brought to the animal centre by inspectors after being left in a property when her owners moved house! She is a very pretty, sweet nature girl who deserves a loving new home.

Jack is an adult male who was rescued by an inspector as an injured stray. He loves attention and loves food! We think he may have been living rough for a while so really deserves to find a loving home to call his own.

Amelia is a young adult female. She is a very soft, loving little girl who was left abandoned in a property when her owners moved house! She is sometime shy of new things so is not suitable to live with dogs or young children.

Pancakes is an adult cat. Sadly she is deaf and so requires a special home where she will be keep as an only house cat. She was found as a stray sufferring from a flea allergy. She is an ultra friendly girl who will make a wonderful pet.

Tina is a senior, neutered female. She has been at the centre for quite a few months now but sadly has not been able to be re-homed due to a bad collar injury. She is now back to full health and looking for a loving family to call her own. Tina is extremely loving and gentle, she loves being stroked and getting attention. She will make a wonderful pet!

Elvin came to the centre after being found trapped under a car at the local ASDA's. We think he was possibly abandoned there as no one has ever come forward to claim him. He is a quiet boy but very friendly. He would suit a quiet household, possibly with older children.

Jackie is a 14 year old, quiet lady who is looking for a loving forever home where she can spend her golden years. Jackie loving lady who loves home comforts and would like to be an only cat.

We always have small furries

looking for loving homes:

Most of the smaller animals we have at the animal centre have been rescued by inspectors and taken from really horrible situations.

We currently have rats, neutered ferrets, gerbils, guinea pigs Chinchillas and rabbits available.

Bertha & Larry are a pair of adult, neutered rabbits. Bertha came to us from an inspector after being found as a stray. She is a bit of an escape artist so will need a secure new home. Larry came to the centre more recently but was also rescued by an inspector after being kept in bad conditions. Both are very friendly and have been paired for companionship.

Florence, Flossy & Frankie

are 5 month old brothers who were found abandoned in a box! They have all now been neutered and split due to them all wanting to be the dominant male. Even though they have to be re-homed seperately we would like them to have female rabbit company in their new homes.

Megan and Barnes are approximately 6 months old. They came to the centre after being abandoned in a property with a large number of other rabbits.We are looking for a home where they can stay together or be paired with another neutered rabbit.

Mystic & Chaos are adult sisters who were rescued by inspectors in a poor state of health. They are now back to full health and looking for a forever home. They are very relaxed girls who are very bonded so we are looking for a home where they can stay together.

LONG STAY

Katy is approximately 6 months old. She came to centre after being abandoned in a property with a large number of other rabbits. She is used to living with a male rabbit so we are looking for a home where she will have the companion of another rabbit as well as human interaction.
