Meet sweet Billy, a handsome ginger boy with a gentle soul and a heart waiting to blossom. Billy was found frightened and alone in his home after his owner sadly passed away. When he first arrived with us, he was very nervous and spent his days hiding in his igloo bed. With patience, kindness and gentle reassurance, Billy has come a long way. He soon began peeking out while we talked to him, allowing us to stroke him from inside his cosy bed. It has been wonderful to watch his confidence slowly grow.

Billy can still be timid and apprehensive, particularly in unfamiliar surroundings, but he is now spending much more time out and about and enjoying the comforts of his pen. Once he feels safe and gets to know you, his gentle nature really shines through. He loves strokes and chin rubs and will greet those he trusts warmly. We’re sure that, given the security of a loving home and time to settle, Billy will become a loyal and affectionate companion.

Billy is looking for patient adopters who understand that trust takes time and are happy to let him settle at his own pace. He would thrive in a calm, quiet home where he can feel safe and secure, with food proving to be a great way to gently encourage him and build his confidence. Billy has lived with another cat before, so we would consider a home with a feline friend, provided introductions are slow and gradual once he is fully settled. Billy has already made wonderful progress, and we’re sure that with the right person, his lovely personality will continue to blossom.
