Meet Summer, a lovely older girl with plenty of life and love to give! Summer came into our care at Longview after being sadly abandoned by her owner. Despite everything she's been through, she has remained an incredibly affectionate and friendly dog who loves everyone she meets and is always ready for a fuss.

Don't let her age fool you - Summer is still full of energy and enjoys getting out and about on long walks. She likes to take life at her own pace, stopping to sniff, explore and take in her surroundings, making every walk an adventure. She is always delighted to meet new people, especially if they're heading out with her for a stroll.

Summer gets on well with other dogs when out and about but we feel she would be happiest as the only dog in the home where she can enjoy all the love, attention and home comforts to herself. She is not suitable to live with cats or small animals.

Summer is looking for a family who will appreciate her gentle, loving nature and enjoy spending time exploring the outdoors with her.
