Jake and Jemima are a gentle, bonded pair of senior cats who are looking for a new home after the death of their previous owner. At around 14 years old, these two loving companions suddenly found themselves facing a completely unfamiliar world. After an understandably frightened and uncertain start, Jake and Jemima have slowly begun to settle with the love, patience and care of the cattery team. Their confidence is growing day by day, and they are now ready to find a calm, peaceful home where they can spend their golden years together.

Jake is a handsome senior boy with the sweetest, most charming little meow. He can be shy when first meeting someone, but with a little quiet reassurance, he soon begins to relax. These days, he enjoys affection and will often come over to greet you when you enter their pen, happily purring as he receives gentle head strokes and enjoys your company.

Jemima (black/white) his equally lovely companion and possible sister, is a little more reserved. She can be cautious around new people, so she appreciates calm, gentle introductions and plenty of time to build trust. Once she feels comfortable, she loves being spoken to and enjoys sitting beside you for attention, especially gentle chin and head rubs.

As an older lady, Jemima has kidney disease and will need to remain on a renal diet. Jake may also be showing some early signs of arthritis, so a comfortable home where he can take life at his own pace would be ideal. Jake and Jemima have already come such a long way. After everything they have been through, they deserve the chance to spend their remaining years surrounded by love, comfort and the security of a home of their own.
