Meet handsome Pudding, a brave two year old cat looking for a calm, understanding home with someone who has previous cat experience. Pudding came into our care in May after being left behind when his owner moved away. Thankfully, a kind neighbour made sure he was fed until our Inspectorate team was able to bring him into our care.

His time in boarding was understandably very stressful, leaving him frightened and unsure of the world around him. However, with the support of our dedicated staff and volunteers, and the quieter environment of our animal centre, Pudding has slowly begun to show his true personality. Since arriving with us in mid June, he has blossomed through patient, gentle one to one care and it has been wonderful to watch his confidence grow.

Pudding is now ready to find a loving home where he can continue building trust at his own pace. He will need time to settle and may be nervous at first, particularly around new people, unfamiliar surroundings or when someone enters his space. He responds best to a calm voice, slow movements and plenty of patience as sudden actions can startle him.

Once Pudding feels safe, his affectionate side shines through. He transforms into a wonderfully loving companion who enjoys fuss, cuddles and spending time with the people he trusts. Seeing him relax and seek out affection is incredibly rewarding and we're sure his new family will find the same joy in watching him continue to flourish.
