Rosie is a gorgeous little sweetheart who is slowly learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. After sadly losing her owner, Rosie came into our care feeling understandably frightened and withdrawn. Since then, her confidence has been growing, and we’re beginning to see the gentle, affectionate girl underneath her shyness.
Rosie doesn’t enjoy being picked up, but she loves affection on her own terms. Her cosy igloo is her favourite safe space, where she enjoys gentle chin rubs. And although she may sometimes hide away or give a little hiss, the sound of a treat bag and a familiar voice can soon tempt her out!
Once Rosie knows and trusts you, she absolutely laps up attention. She is becoming braver around new people and can often be found relaxing in her favourite radiator bed, keeping a close eye on her humans.
Rosie is looking for patient, understanding adopters who will give her the time, space and reassurance she needs to settle at her own pace. She may not greet you with open paws straight away, but with kindness and patience, we know this special girl has so much love to give.
