Meet Zelda, a beautiful, friendly and super-affectionate polydactyl cat with adorable “mitten paws” and an even sweeter personality. Zelda recently came into the care of our Blackpool branch, along with several other animals, after being signed over for welfare reasons. She is a wonderful girl who quickly makes herself at home and would be a fantastic addition to the right family.

Zelda absolutely loves human company and attention - she’s all about the cuddles! As soon as you enter her pen, she’ll come straight over chirping to say hello, and once you sit down, you can expect her to make herself comfortable on your lap.

Zelda is a polydactyl, or “mitten cat”, meaning she has an extra toe on all four of her paws. This causes her no problems and simply adds to her unique charm. Her new owners will just need to keep a little extra eye on her feet and trim her additional claws, as these don’t naturally wear down and can become overgrown.

Zelda would ideally like a home where her humans are around for much of the day, as she truly thrives on company and affection. If you’re looking for a loving, affectionate companion who will happily be your lap cat, Zelda could be the perfect girl for you.
