Meet Brodie, a handsome older gentleman with plenty of love and life still to give. Brodie arrived in our care after a change in his owner's circumstances meant they could no longer care for him. Since then, he has become a firm favourite with our kennel staff, and it's easy to see why. He is a sweet, laid-back boy who takes life in his stride and is always looking forward to his next adventure.

Brodie loves being around people and is happiest when he's receiving plenty of fuss and attention. He'll greet you with a wagging tail and a happy face, ready for cuddles or a stroll. He also has a playful side and enjoys spending time in the paddocks with his favourite toys, especially when the sun is shining. Walks are one of Brodie's favourite parts of the day. He enjoys exploring at a relaxed pace, taking in all the sights and smells around him. He walks well on the lead and would benefit from some ongoing basic training, including house training to help him settle into his new home.

During a health check, we found that Brodie has liver disease. While this sounds worrying, they are currently bright, comfortable, and enjoying all the things they love. Their new owner will simply need to continue their care with the support of a vet, including any recommended medication or routine monitoring.

Don't let Brodie's age fool you - he still has plenty of energy and love to share. Although he walks well with other dogs, we feel he would be happiest as the only pet in the home, where he can enjoy all the attention he deserves. We think he could potentially live with older, dog-savvy children. Brodie is looking for a loving home where he can enjoy his golden years surrounded by comfort, companionship, and plenty of adventures. Could you be the one to give this wonderful boy the happy ending he deserves?
