Brilliant Bruno arrived at the centre at the beginning of August after a change in his previous owner’s circumstances. When he first came to us, Bruno was very skinny, nervous and worried about what was happening. Everything seemed a little scary to him, but with lots of love, fuss and reassurance from our kennel team, he has really started to come out of his shell.

It has been lovely to watch Bruno grow in confidence during his time with us. He now greets people much more confidently and loves having a fuss from his handlers. He is still building his confidence, so his new family will need to be patient and understanding, giving him the reassurance he needs to know that he is safe and everything is okay.

Bruno is a really good walker and loves getting out and about to explore his surroundings. As a younger boy, he has plenty of energy to burn and enjoys walks, playing in the paddocks and keeping his clever mind busy with enrichment. His new family will need to be active and able to provide him with plenty of exercise, mental stimulation and fun activities.

Bruno is looking for a home where he can be the only dog. He isn't a massive fan of intact male dogs and would much prefer having all the attention to himself - although he certainly wouldn't say no to extra fuss and treats! He will also need an adult only home where he can enjoy a calm and settled environment while he continues to build his confidence.

His new family should be prepared to continue with some basic training, including house training, and most importantly, understand that Bruno has experienced a lot of uncertainty in his short life. He is a really sweet, loving boy who deserves a family willing to give him the patience, stability and love he has missed out on. With the right family by his side, we know Bruno will continue to flourish.
