Meet Delboy, a special boy looking for a patient and loving home. Delboy arrived at Longview after his previous owner was sadly unable to provide the care he needed. He is looking for a very special home with someone who has experience with dogs, particularly nervous dogs and can help him continue his journey.

Delboy hasn’t had the easiest start in life but with patience and dedication from the team, he has blossomed into an affectionate and loving boy. He can still be nervous around new people, especially men so he needs a calm, quiet home with adopters who will give him the time and reassurance he deserves. With continued training and support from a clinical behaviourist who has already met and assessed him, Delboy’s adopters can help him discover that the world isn’t such a scary place and watch his confidence grow.

This lovely boy has so much personality and absolutely loves his adventures. His favourite thing - tennis balls! A game of fetch is the quickest way to win Delboy’s heart. He has even enjoyed a trip to the beach with one of the kennel team, where he had the best time exploring the sand, taking in new sights and enjoying a pup cup!

Delboy is looking for an adult only home where he can be the only pet, allowing him to settle at his own pace and enjoy all the love and attention. We are incredibly proud of how far Delboy has come, and we know that with the right person by his side, he will continue to thrive.
