Nala arrived at the centre in January after her welfare needs were not being met in her previous home. Nala is a larger than life girl who loves a good cuddle with the kennel staff. She has shown to be really friendly and loves to be around people, always wagging her tail when the kennel team talks to her and gives her fuss. She is a big girl with a lot of love to give and would love to be able to be in a home where she can stretch her legs on long walks but also cuddle up on the sofa with her new adopters.
Nala would really benefit from continued training, such as loose lead walking in the home to help her settle. She responds really well to treats and loves various forms of enrichment to keep her mind active. Nala is very keen to learn new things. With Nala being a larger breed who can sometimes get a bit giddy we feel as though she would do better in an adult only home.
She is also looking for a home where she will be the only animal so that she can get all the attention to herself as she can get a little bit frustrated with some of the dogs she sees out on a walk. Experience with large breed dogs would be really beneficial for potential adopters who are looking to apply for Nala. She is a very affectionate girl who has a lot of love to give and would love a home to be able to show just how sweet she is.
