Nifty Narla came into our care here at Longview in March after spending much of her life alone in a dark crate. When she first arrived, it was clear she hadn’t experienced much of the world and was unsure how to interact as a dog. With time, patience, and lots of praise (and treats!) from her handlers, Narla has made incredible progress and has come on leaps and bounds.
Narla is a very affectionate girl who loves getting fuss from people she trusts. She enjoys her walks, exploring new places and discovering all the sights, sounds, and smells of a world she missed out on. She is a clever dog who loves having a task and is always ready to learn something new.
Narla is looking for patient and kind adopters who can help her continue to grow in confidence. She would be best suited to an adult only home with no other dogs, where she can enjoy a calm and stable environment. Although she has been doing brilliantly with her training and walks well past other dogs, she is happiest having her own space and being the queen of the house.
Continued training and positive experiences will help Narla thrive, so a home with experience of dogs, especially larger excitable breeds, would be ideal. Narla is such a sweet girl, and we are incredibly proud of how far she has come. We can’t wait to see her flourish in a loving home and begin her next adventure.
