This handsome young gentleman is Ronnie! He arrived at Longview at the beginning of August after his previous owner sadly became unable to keep him. Despite his size, Ronnie is a sensitive soul who needs a little TLC, patience and guidance to help him discover that the world isn't quite as scary as he sometimes thinks. New or unexpected situations can make him nervous, but since arriving at Longview, he has been steadily growing in confidence.

Once Ronnie knows you, his happy and affectionate personality really shines through. He loves heading out for walks, taking his time to stop, sniff and explore. He's still learning what to do with toys, so when he's off lead in the paddocks, he'd much rather come over for a cuddle with his favourite people!

As a big, young lad, Ronnie can be strong and bouncy on walks. He's still learning his manners, so continued training will be an important part of helping him become the best version of himself. After the ups and downs he's already experienced, what Ronnie needs most now is love, stability and consistency.

Ronnie is looking for a home where he can be the only animal. Although he has lived with dogs previously, he can become a little overexcited around them. Being an only dog would allow his new family to focus on building his confidence and helping him with his training.

Due to his size and excitability, Ronnie would be best suited to an adult only home. Previous experience with large breeds or young, excitable dogs would be a real benefit, as he still has plenty to learn. Ronnie is such a sweet boy who sometimes forgets just how big he is! Whether he's heading off on an adventure or settling down for a cuddle, he's happiest spending time with his people. He deserves a family who will give him the patience, love and stability he needs to thrive.
