Stunning Silkie arrived here at Longview back at the beginning of April after his needs were not being met in his previous home. When Silkie first came here he was a little bit nervous having not experienced much of the world in his previous home but with lots of TLC and a few extra treats, he has really come out of his shell and now lives life to the fullest. Silkie really thrives being around people and will try and get attention wherever he can, he is always up for a cuddle and a fuss off kennel staff and dog walkers alike.

Silkie really loves his walks and experiencing all the sniffs he can while spending time with his favourite people, as much as he loves being out on walks, he loves to curl up on his duvet and stretch out his long legs to have a snooze. Silkie is very easy to make into your best friend, all you need is a tennis ball, some treats and a scratch behind the ears! Silkie would prefer a home where he is the only animal in the house, he can sometimes get a bit frustrated with other dogs out on a walk but he also would like the idea of having all the attention as an only dog.

Silkie is also on the lookout for an adult only home as he is a big leggy lad. Silkie walks well but can have strong moments, continued training in the home would be very beneficial for Silkie when transitioning into his new home. If you have a sofa you are wanting to share with a cuddly lurcher then Silkie is the boy for you.
