We currently need volunteers to help in our Morecambe charity shop.

This role entails a high level of customer service. Retail experience is not necessary however and interest in sales would be beneficial. Our charity shops play an extremely important role within the branch as they fund the animal centre. Without such funding the animal centre would not be able to continue to care for abused and neglected animals.

Helping at the charity shops is a fun, rewarding volunteer opportunity. If you would like to know more please contact the Manager of the Morecambe shop directly.

* Animal of the Week *

Kaisha 

  I am an adorable 3 year old dalmatian cross collie with lots of energy and love to give. I have lived with other dogs but would probably be best as the only pet in the house. I chase cats so am not suitable to live with small animals or young children.

 If you think you may be able to give Kaisha a good home or want more information on her please contact the animal centre via phone 01253-763991 or pop in to see us, Tuesday - Sunday 11am - 4pm.

 THANKS to all of you who have given a home to one of our shelter animals! For all of you who are looking to give one of our rescue animals a good home please feel free to browse our 'Animals for adoption pages' or call into the centre, Tuesday-Sunday, 11.00am-16.00pm.

All animal donations are non-refundable so please think carefully and listen to any adivce given before deciding to adopt a pet.

In 2011 we will be starting an exciting new venture of building a new animal centre! Sadly the animal centre we are currently using is sinking into the moss land it was built on and so we cannot stay here. However we need to raise the money to pay for the build of the new centre and so will be holding lots of fundraising events this year in order to do this.
